Sparkleberry (Vaccinium arboreum)

I bloom best in part sun.

Low water needs.

Size:     6-12 ft tall x 4-15 ft wide

Bloom Time: Spring

I am a spring blooming shrub with beautiful bark that looks great in natural landscapes. I produce numerous white blooms for two weeks that are important for the native bee population. Following my blooms, you will find berries that are attractive to birds and other wildlife. I am deciduous, but have beautiful delicate fall foliage. I thrive in a high pine setting where I can get bright shifting light. My small stature and twisted trunks make me nicely suited for planting near a residential deck or patio.
