Rain Lily (Zephyranthes atamasca)

Blooms in sun or shade.

Doesn't need regular watering, but will bloom with the summer rains.

Size: 0 .5 ft tall x  0.5 ft wide

Bloom Time: Spring and summer

This is a charming native lily. It is dormant most of the year, which is when it's growing my roots and spreading underground. Once the summer rains arrive, it will pop up out of the ground for all to see. It's not particularly attractive to bees or butterflies, but humans love it.
