Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)

I thrive in full to part sun.

I prefer average to moist soil conditions. Plant me at the base of a rain gutter and I will put on a show.

Size: 3 ft tall x 2 ft wide

Bloom Time: Summer

I am the epitome of a cottage garden plant! The butterflies use my blooms as a nectar source. If you let my blooms dry on the plant, the birds will eat my seeds. I have lovely purple blooms and make a great cut flower in bouquets.
