Orange Coneflower (Rudbeckia fulgida)

Full sun to part shade.

Average water needs.

Size: 2-3 ft tall x 1-2 ft wide

Bloom Time: Summer to Fall

This is a reseeding wildflower, similar to Black Eyed Susans. Orange coneflower is typically found only in north Florida, but is adaptable to central Florida. Keep this wildflower in full to part sun where it has rich soil. It may disappear after blooming, but will reseed if you leave the dried seed pods on the plant. The birds will eat the dried seeds right off the plant in the fall.
