I am endangered Florida native morning glory. My natural range includes pine rockland habitats in Miami-Dade County. My name refers to my large, underground root, similar to a sweet potato, that stores nutrients and helps me survive drought, dormancy, and fire. Hummingbirds and butterflies (mostly skippers) love to visit my pink tubular blooms. I will look lovely draped across a fence or climbing a trellis. I need full sun and well drained sandy soil.
