Jamaican Caper (Quadrella jamaicensis)

I will grow in full to part sun.

I have low to average water needs.

Size: 6-12 ft tall X 6-10ft wide

Bloom Time: Spring

This is a fun shrub due to it’s unique white blooms that rapidly turn pink after opening. It can be used as a specimen plant or hedge. The leaves are almost waxy, with a brown underside. As a plant native to coastal areas, this shrub has great hurricane wind resistance. It can tolerate temperatures down to 28 degrees. It is a relative to the edible caper, but this particular plant is not edible.
