Garberia (Garberia heterophylla)

I bloom best in full sun.
Low water needs.
Size: 1-5 ft tall x  1-5 ft wide
Bloom Time: Fall

Garberia is a member of the Aster family, but unlike most Aster species, it’s growth habit is woody and shrubby rather than herbaceous. Garberia typically flowers in late fall, but has been known to flower throughout the year. It is an excellent nectar source for many butterflies and bees. It works well in dry, sunny areas and as a border planting. In normal conditions, it is evergreen and is particularly long-lived. It is drought-tolerant, and once established, and requires little to no irrigation.
