Frogfruit (Phyla nodiflora)

I bloom in full to part sun.

Low to average water needs.

Size:     0.5 ft tall x 2 ft wide

Bloom Time: Spring, Summer, Fall

You have probably seen me on the side of the road in medians, and most people call me a weed, but I am a great native ground cover. My purple blooms peek up over my low growing foliage. I need average water to look my best, but will tolerate periods of drought. I am a host plant for the Phaon Crescent, White Peacock, and Common Buckeye. Plant me in the ground, or put me in a hanging basket where my stems can hang over the edge and be enjoyed.
