Chapman's Goldenrod (Solidago odora var. chapmanii)

I bloom best in full to part sun.

Low water needs once established.

Size:     3-4 ft tall x 2 ft wide

Bloom Time: Late Summer to Fall

This native goldenrod thrives in sunny and sandy Florida soil. Native to scrub and sandhills, this particular goldenrod does well in a home landscape. Prior to blooming, the plant is not particularly attractive, so plant it in the middle of a wildflower garden, where it can hide until blooming. The roots are good for stabilizing loose soil.
