Blanketflower (Gaillardia pulchella)

Blooms best in the sun.

Low water needs.

Size: 1 ft tall x 1-2 ft wide

Bloom Time: Spring and Summer

Blanketflower is a lovely annual wildflower for your home garden. It blooms in the spring and summer, and depending on your location, it may die back in the winter. Don’t worry though, it will reemerge next year. The blooms attract many pollinators including honey and native bees, butterflies, and wasps. After it's done blooming, you may see chickadees, titmice, or warblers snacking on the seeds.
